The name Harvard is famous all over the world. Its reputation goes before it, the name conjures images of academics, learning and knowledge.  It is the oldest university in America (founded in 1636) and is a member of the Ivy League. Set in the Cambridge, Massachusetts to those select few who gain a place, they will be studying at one of the most prestigious schools in the world.

If you’re a sports kind of person, then Harvard will fulfill your needs. The facilities are excellent and “The MAC” boasts an Olympic size swimming pool. If you join a sports team at Harvard, your arch enemy will be Yale. The two universities have long been competing on the field and on the court. This rivalry culminates every year in “The Game”. Even if you don’t participate watching the game is a must.

To get into Harvard, you must be at the top of your game, both academically and otherwise. For the 2012 graduation class, Harvard accepted just 7% of their applicants. Ranked number 1 in the world by The Times, this institution is the best of the best.
