The course you choose to study at college is the one that will determine your future. If you don’t think you are ready to specialize, there are plenty of degree options that will keep your career choices open.
Look at the subject you are currently studying. Is there any one you particularly enjoy? If so you might want to think about taking that subject onto higher level. What about if you only enjoy a portion of that subject? Not all of Biology interests you, but if you enjoy the animal kingdom, what about studying zoology?
The same course at different universities may differ, you might want to talk to people at the colleges you are considering and see what the structure of the course is like. You may find that one version of a course will suit you more than others.
You may also want to consider if the course will give you the right qualifications to enter the career you want to be in. Is it well recognized by the industry? If not, you may want to consider an alternative before spending a lot of money on something that won’t get you where you want to be.
There are lots of resources around to help you chose and your school may have a careers advisor. You should book a meeting with them to discuss your options and talk to them about what you have researched so far. You may also want to consult with teachers; they know you and will also be able to advise you personally.
